I'm a well read grad student who's bluntly honest about all things, although I try to be most honest about myself.
Some of the best horror I've read recently! Beautiful, original, and just plain slick: I loved all the characters in this, I loved the concept, I loved the art. It was a really quick read, even as tired as I am.
Pretty much I stayed up so late I'm having a migraine right now to finish this because I couldn't sleep not knowing what happened.
Totally worth it.
Victor Morrow is a doctor. Of the supernatural. Along with Penny Dreadful - Penelope, who was once an art student and now eats monsters - and Eric Gast - a paramedic who, apparently, got fired for punching people. In the face - Morrow fights all kinds of horrific infestations. Fish people. Cthulu-types. Vampires. Creepy doll fairies. Possessions. This one volume has it all, and it's wonderful. The give and take between Eric and Victor is laugh out loud funny, and the horror is good, gory fun.
I can't wait to read the second volume, although I'm not sure where I'll get that. I'd like to read that as a PDF, like I did with this (I got it from Humble Bundle and downloaded it as a PDF and read it on my computer) but I'm not sure where to get it in that format.
