Grimlock ♥ Ultra Magnus

I'm a well read grad student who's bluntly honest about all things, although I try to be most honest about myself.

Yup, it went downhill...

Transformers: Escalation - Simon Furman, E.J. Su

I kind of like where this is going, as I remember where it does go.   And the whole forced headmaster thing is interesting, as are the Machinations plans.   Which doesn't make the human interest/stories any more interesting to me.   Nor does it make the actual human characters less annoying.   Especially Verity.   I've not liked her in particular since I first read these comics, way before MTMtE even started up.   (So it can't be jealousy, because that was way, way before Magnus decided he liked Verity.)

Anyway, yeah for some reason the Transformers comics work better for me when it's all bots and not humans.   They just seem to ask the questions like what's moral, and get more subtle, funnier, and more thought-provoking when they don't have to juggle a human and bot cast.

I'm still onto Devastation, though!
