I'm a well read grad student who's bluntly honest about all things, although I try to be most honest about myself.
I got tagged by: http://ruedentryofadivergentrebel.booklikes.com
BOOKLET OR TOME? Depends on what the story calls for, although I've been finding I prefer tomes, especially with Transformers fiction, Anne Bishop, etc.
PRE-OWNED OR NEW? Either. New if I'm getting a special edition, an art book, or getting the book signed, although pre-owned is good for cheaper prices, or stuff that's out of print.
HISTORICAL FICTION OR FANTASY? Fantasy.
HARDCOVER OR PAPERBACK? Paperback because they're easier to hold and not as bulky. (< -- Danielle's answer is mine in this case.)
FUNNY OR SAD? If I liked the jokes at the funeral that made me cry does that count as both? Mostly funny. Sad can end up emotionally crippling me.
DO YOU PREFER READING IN SUMMER OR IN WINTER? I like reading all the time.
CLASSICS OR MAINSTREAM? Depends on my mood.
GUIDEBOOK OR FICTION? Fiction.
CRIME NOVEL OR THRILLER? Neither, for the most part. Not into either thriller or crime novels for the most part.
E-BOOK OR PRINT EDITION? E-book. Less eyestrain, less migraines - on the Kindle, at least- and more convenient for carrying around hundreds of books.
COLLECTING OR CLEARING OUT? I'm a book hoarder!
INTERNET OR BOOKSTORE? Both. I get lots of recommendations on BL, and love hanging out with my book friends here, but stalking the bookshelf aisles in a store can be so much fun!
BACKLIST OR NEW PUBLICATION? When I like an author? I tend to try everything I can get my hands on by them.
BEST OR BAD SELLER? I don't care how well a book sells. I care that I'm interested in it.
COOKBOOKS OR BAKING BOOKS? Look, if it doesn't involve a microwave, I'm not interested, thanks.
So, that's me. I don't cook. I can cook, I have no interest in cooking. Or baking.
