The problem is that these pictures aren't very artistic, and while one or two of the gingerbread houses are creative - waffle house, or boat - some of them are more conventional, and again, not really that artistic.   

In the end, this books comes off feeling sloppy; the links of flickr accounts these pictures were taken from make it seem even more exploitative.   Every time I see those links in the back of a picture book, I wonder if the photographers know their pictures are being used.   It ends up feeling slimy to me, and makes me feel slimy for having read the book. 

Not worth the time taken to download and read this.
