He literally was like 'coldest New Years' ever!   We need more of that good old global warming they're all talking about!'  

Because of COURSE he thinks that global warming means things get warmer and doesn't understand that it can cause more severe winters - especially snow storms, it can cause more severe snow storms if you're talking particulars.
