I'm a well read grad student who's bluntly honest about all things, although I try to be most honest about myself.
Ah, the FCBDs before the Nu!SE. How I miss them!
This one is two stories: one about the All-New, All-Different Avengers, and one a tie-in to Uncanny Inhumans/All-New Inhumans. The first story has Ms. Marvel/Kamala Khan who is an Inhuman, and the second has Medusa who is queen of the Inhumans. And yeah, I'm reading my entire backlog of Inhuman related comics this week, if I can manage it! So far, so good.
I loved the first story, about how the new Avengers - Ms. Marvel, Miles Morales as Spider-Man and teen-Nova - will fit in with the older guard. It's just absolutely perfect.
I like the concept of the second: Medusa saves some NuHumans from Hydra, and vows to protect all her people. It's poignant, seeing how people react to the change, especially those who have a lot to lose and don't cope well, but it's ruined by the Medusa/Human Torch relationship because there is just no chemistry there, so why did Marvel even do that?
