I'm a well read grad student who's bluntly honest about all things, although I try to be most honest about myself.
I'm seriously considering cancelling my subscription, although who knows. At least there was more Gabe in this - although not much. And I really enjoyed Robbie's relationship with his brother (nothing dirty: Gabe is mentally and physically handicapped in the comics, and their parents have run off. Robbie has a job to keep them fed and clothed, and acts as his brother's guardian. Robbie is always softest when things are about his brother, as he cares deeply for Gabe and is incredibly protective of him. I found that deep love between them one of the most endearing qualities and I feel that the show Agents of S.H.E.I.L.D managed to get it better than this series - which is s shame as this is the author from the original comic series.)
I'm also really not as into the massive team-up with the new Wolverine, and Hulk, so it's pretty much disappointing on most levels.
I love Eli, Robbie's car is hot, and the art is wonderful. It's not quite as disappointing as Karnak. I'm going to give it one more issue, at least, since more of the protective instincts came out along with Gabe this issue. Still, it's ties that made the first series: ties to Hillrock Heights, ties to Gabe, ties to the girl Robbie had a crush on - and all those are sorely missing in this series. I hope Felipe Smith brings this back around and taps into some of what made me love the original series so much.
