I'm a well read grad student who's bluntly honest about all things, although I try to be most honest about myself.
And it's only not a five star/favorite because I have very little interest in Kang. He's a brilliant villain, creepy and smart, and worthy of the Avengers. I just am not a particular fan of time-travel stories, and Kang is all about the time-travel.
Still, I've given this Kang storyline a steady four stars: it resolved a story with Vision from the last series, it was fun, and I like the art even if I long for other artists who have dealt with Vision in a way I find more aesthetically pleasing. That being said, this issue was absolutely brilliant: Kang's exposition was gorgeously done, and integral to the revelation at the end. I just find Kang off-putting, both his ambitions to force everyone to acknowledge him, and his hubris, although he claims he has none after that first realization that he had hubris.
I found it off-putting enough to read so much about him that I still found this a four star read. I'm not even knocking down more stars, because the brilliance of this storyline compensated for me not enjoying reading about him.
