I'm a well read grad student who's bluntly honest about all things, although I try to be most honest about myself.
“I do not understand,” Temeraire said. “Vindicatus said that it was prodigiously nice for men, and also desirable, for otherwise they might like to get married, and that did not sound very pleasant at all. Although if you very much wished to, I suppose I would not mind.”

So much of this book is quotable! Also, this whole scene is making me laugh, which would be weird given that my mom asked for company while watching Shadow of Truth which is about the death of a 13-year-old Israeli girl. So I'm reading this and trying to be very, very sober looking about it at the same time, which only makes me want to laugh more.
