I'm a well read grad student who's bluntly honest about all things, although I try to be most honest about myself.
And about that many comics to read. I hope to do so later today but I keep rewritten my application essay to Simmons. I much prefer writing about literature than myself, so...
I also got invited to do a blog post, which I'm not sure how much I should say? I wasn't told anything, but I think the details - what it's about, etc - are supposed to be kept under wraps. I will be writing a first draft tomorrow, and probably have to cut down a LOT. I have a lot to say about this subject. I will, obviously, post about it when it comes out. I also want to mention a couple people here, and I will ask before I put those things in, but they're all positive things.
That being said, my reviews may not be written today. I had a lot of time yesterday because I needed to pick up and set up my new iPhone and that went like gangbusters. I did end up reading on one of the Apple computers while everything got set up, though. I forgot to review Unstoppable Wasp and Moon Girl and DD, too, so I'm way, way behind. I'm going to reward myself by reading more before I do anything once I get this essay done, though.
Or the first of the final draft. I refuse to rewrite. I'm just going to write it and then edit on Tuesday, let someone read it on Wednesday and edit on Thursday. A final look-see on Friday and then some tweaking and I'm hoping to be done.
So... I'll have like twenty reviews coming in at some point today. Sorry? I've got my Pages tab open and am like a third of the way through the draft of the essay that I already like more and feel more optimistic about, so there's that!
