I'm a well read grad student who's bluntly honest about all things, although I try to be most honest about myself.
For all the tension, this feels disappointing. Maybe it's because none of the payoffs lately seem as subtle, as big, or as touching as anything in Vision.
This tale of Batman and Catwoman just felt flat for me.
Here's hoping it gets better with the next issue. After all, King's been doing well with the larger storylines; this was a filler issue, an in-between the storylines, that didn't do it for me. Maybe it's because I don't understand why Selina Kyle doesn't just tell people she didn't kill all those people - even though she claimed to - or why Batman can't figure it out since he's so clearly got a hard on for her.
I ended up feeling confused, frustrated, and ugh...
Lovely moments interspersed between the WTFuckery though, so there was that!
