Grimlock ♥ Ultra Magnus

I'm a well read grad student who's bluntly honest about all things, although I try to be most honest about myself.

Ties up this storyline very nicely

Batman (2016-) #13 - Tom King, Mikel Janin

I'm sure that there will be repercussions: too much has been seeded not to spiral out into the wider world, both for Bruce Wayne and potentially for other DC heroes.   Still, comics walk the fine line, wrapping up stories while hinting at what might come next.   Even Vision - another King title - wrapped up with no strings left untied at the end - and yet managed to hint at what might come next.

King himself seems very adept at this whole 'fine line' thing.   He manages to wrap up stories, tie it all up in a nice bow, and yet...

Look, the things he hints?   You know they're coming. Just not now.   Comic companies - and writers - like to let you forget, lull you into a sense of security or distract you with another story then bring this back.

Still, it's coming.  And yet, I find that this particular story line feels wrapped up.   Makes sense since there's a tie-in to Justice League versus Suicide Squad: I suspect most stories with Justice Leaguers - or even Squaders - are going to wrap up, let the event take center stage, then veer off into their own stories.  Still loving this.
