I was interested in the LitCoins, in which you gained coins for doing things, and then you could use those coins to buy books.   (No value in the real world, but... books?)

Except that you can't buy e-books because they end up making money by charging you five dollars shipping per book.  I tried adding two books and seeing if there was a way to combine shipping, and lessen that, but, no, that makes it ten dollars shipping. (Minus a buck or two.)  These are not large, or heavy books.   These are the dinky Transformers chapter books that tie into the most recent animated show. 

Between that and the fact that their search engine has to be the most horrible one I've seen, I took a look around, and will most likely simply let my account go to waste.  I am going to try to get a couple books shipped and see how that goes, I think.   We'll see what's what after that happens, I guess?
