I'm a well read grad student who's bluntly honest about all things, although I try to be most honest about myself.
So I got this on sale because why not? It looked cute! I didn't even know what Tsum Tsums were, but I was told they were super popular. So I gave it a shot, and I really want to read more of this - but I'm not willing to pay four dollars an issue. This was funny, kid-friendly and heartwarming, but it didn't really do it for me. The four stars is mostly I liked it - even if I didn't love-love it - and I thought it was well done. The art was nifty, but more of a Saturday morning cartoon style to go along with the story than I'm used to in comics. The storyline was adorable.
It's still not a need to have. I wished there was more emotional content, or a story that said or did something. I wish I knew more about the motivation of the Tsum Tsum. It was all a little 'oh, it's done then?'
Issue two does promise an Ultron Tsum Tsum. So if that goes on sale then maybe I'll pick it up then.
