I'm a well read grad student who's bluntly honest about all things, although I try to be most honest about myself.
Wrex is a T-Rex who is only calmed down when he's near this little girl. I cared so much for Wrex that I didn't pay enough attention to the girl to remember her name. Wrex's companion? The girl Wrex hangs around?
Yeah, still don't really care. For a character that doesn't speak or do much other than run around and bite plans, Wrex had a lot of character. He cares deeply for this girl, although he seems to only have as much brains as, well, a T-Rex.
Stil, if you're just looking for a time-displaced dinosaur story? This is a lot of fun. The military storyline - which involves wanting to find a way to stop the time displacements - is fun, too. They believe that since Wrex doesn't belong in their time, he's going to attract more of these anomalies.
Their solution is to kill Wrex. Girl Who Loves Wrex disagrees. I kinda love her for that, but I also probably wouldn't if she didn't steal Wrex to save him...
I don't think I own any other issues, though. Got this in a grab bag and it fits the team up square in my general comics book bingo, so yay to that.
