Grimlock ♥ Ultra Magnus

I'm a well read grad student who's bluntly honest about all things, although I try to be most honest about myself.

It's got some genuinely funny moments

Spider-Man/Deadpool (2016-) #4 - Joe Kelly, Ed McGuinness

But it's still Kelly and he's my least favorite writer for Deadpool.  It's gotten a lot better, but it still feels... off.

That being said, I enjoyed this more than I did not.   There was a lot more consistency with the newer Deadpool and that made this not only bearable, but fun.   It still doesn't even crack my top ten Deadpool stories, and I'ld far rather read a Duggan storyline any day.   But I wasn't going to give this much more of a chance, even on MU.   I think I will, though, after reading this.

The Deadpool and Spider-Man double date went about as well as you could expect, and hey, it was funny for me.   Poor, poor Spider-Man, though...
