I'm a well read grad student who's bluntly honest about all things, although I try to be most honest about myself.
I don't know if it's Ellis, Marvel or the artist or what but this comes out like every three months. I remembered what happened as soon as I started reading this, but unfortunately none of the issues delves into Karnak and makes him as interesting and complex and compelling as he was in the first issue.
There were hints of that here, and I liked him better in this issue than some of them. I liked some of the plot better here, too, although it was mostly about getting into Karnak's head. Still, it doesn't quite match the excitement, the complexity, and the charm of the first issue. Still, I keep hoping, so I keep reading this series.
