I'm a well read grad student who's bluntly honest about all things, although I try to be most honest about myself.
It manages to be hilarious, but also quite serious and touching. It deals with Civil War II, and there's this:
When Carol most needs comfort, Groot goes to her and gives her that comfort. It's touching, partly because Groot is truly this caring and it shows here. The expressions on their faces does it for me, and turns this panel into a perfect melding of writing and art.
And then there's Drax:
And there's more. They've got Thanos as their captive, but Gamora wants more. She wants her 'adopted father' dead. Except that always ends in tragedy, so there's a discussion about whether or not to even tell her that they have Thanos in a prison.
And then there's the faces people make around Angela:
Oh, Angela! I love you so damn much!
