I'm a well read grad student who's bluntly honest about all things, although I try to be most honest about myself.
The Spider-Gwen annual was full of one-shots, shorter stories that were about her, her band, and included Peter Parker. (The only thing I could have asked for was more Frank Castle, but I understand why they didn't use him more. He's interesting, but only because he acts as a counterpoint to the original Castle; as an original character, I would find him too cliché.)
I read this before work as I'm finding it hard to get into the Star Trek graphic novels: they're all reminding me of Yelchin right now.
This was a nice way to wake up, cute and funny, and it got super meta.

It introduced characters like Spider-Gwen's version of She-Hulk - a super popular wrestler - and obviously The Watcher. It would probably be less meaningful if I hadn't read the series, but I had and so it's fun.
