I'm a well read grad student who's bluntly honest about all things, although I try to be most honest about myself.

Black Knight (2015-) #1 - Frank Tieri, Luca Pizzari, Julian Tedesco

I just am not as into fantasy as other genres, and Weirdworld is more fantasy than anything.  Unsurprisingly, it isn't my favorite Marvel title, despite the humor, the wonderful writing, the main character whom I've come to like in this issue, and the slightly stylized art that fits this story quite well.   In other words, it was well written.   I feel like Weirdworld, though, is more for the Dungeons and Dragons fans, and I am... not.

I don't really have anything bad to say about this.  I don't regret that I got this, or the next issue, which I look forward to reading.   I'm just not enamored with the concept or the series so far.

I do like that Dane Whitman, the main character, called Weirdworld something like Wonderland if Quentin Tarantino had come up with it.   It's actually a good description and it made me laugh.
