Because this isn't going away soon.   You may try to erase and hide the ties HYDRA had to Nazis, but, nope, you can't.   The whining article about fan entitlement got things wrong: a lot of us aren't saying we demand things, but we have a right to complain and even boycott things we don't like.   It also claims HYDRA's not about the Nazis.   In fact, it never has been.

The Red Skull who led HYDRA for a long time claims this.   But, they are never about Nazism?   It would be nice if a journalist and critic researched to get his facts straight.   Also, people like Bendis who claim that Cap being HYDRA doesn't make him a Nazi.   Even assuming that HYDRA was like 'oh, shit, what did we get ourselves into?' and left the Nazi party, they were Nazis when Cap's mother would be indoctrinating him.   To be a Nazi.  

Also, have the Red Skull being mentored by Hitler: 

Baron Von Strucker, another Nazi, was in Hydra. 

There's an image I lost track of where Strucker scoffs at the ex-Nazi label.   He still believes, dammit!   Let's roll with Marvel for a minute.   HYDRA isn't about nazism.   No, don't look back up.   Or down.   Just roll for a second.   

They worked with Nazis.   Nazis who were not shy about saying they were Nazis.   They were aiding the Nazi cause by working side-by-side with Nazis instead of condemning their actions.   That's still... bad.   And still ties HYDRA to Nazis.   Nothing can make that history disappear.   Even a reboot of the whole universe.   The old comics are still out there, guys!   And you keep using HYDRA, but at the same time gaslighting everyone into thinking HYDRA?   Nazis?   No, there's no connection there and never was and you're crazy, no matter what those screenshots say!

You turned Cap into someone who is tied to a group that is a-okay with working with loads of Nazis at best.   You turned him into an actual Nazi at worst.   Either way, gross.   I'm willing to concede that maybe this is a double agent plot or an AU Cap - still Cap but not OUR Cap - but I'm still turned off by your 'tee-hee he's totally Cap' baiting. 

Aaaand in the MCU: 

So apparently SHIELD still considers them Nazis.   Or they just don't update their handbooks?   

But, this is my finger to that article, the one calling fans entitled.   If you're not going to do your homework - which you get paid for now - I'm not going to bow down to your obnoxiousness.   This is something worth getting upset over.   Not because 'oh, no, my character changed' but because 'oh, shit, this is kinda really anti-semitic.'   It's really offensive that no one can see this, and no one expected this reaction.   Just because Marvel pretends that this history doesn't exist, it doesn't mean others have.   The one reason I held a little bit of love for Cap was his punching Hitler on the cover of a comic and standing up for those who couldn't - the Jews and Romani and gay/queer populations who were being targeted, tortured, starved, and murdered.   Now I don't even have that. 

I realize I'm in deep mourning for the character.   Not because I read a lot of his comics, but because he did actually stand for something and I didn't realize how much that meant until it was stripped away. 

To that decision.  Not to the people even, just to that decision.
