Grimlock ♥ Ultra Magnus

I'm a well read grad student who's bluntly honest about all things, although I try to be most honest about myself.

Still rough

Death of Wolverine #2 (of 4) - Charles Soule, Steve McNiven

This issue gets a little more down and dirty and gets Logan a little closer to finding out who put the hit on his head.   He knew someone - someones in fact - would come after him after they found out his healing factor wasn't working, but he didn't realize someone would be so desperate as to go through Viper, and to put such a high price on his head.

Except nothing is quite as it seems.

Logan is never alone, and has allies who help him get what he needs, or just give him what he needs, or who are willing to follow him to Madripoor.     It's still as humorless, but that feels very appropriate.

I liked it more than the first issue, but this is still so, so rough for me.  I still am trying to hold onto my denial about this whole Death of Logan thing.

But, y'know, it's happening.   I'm going to put off the last two issues for now.
