Grimlock ♥ Ultra Magnus

It's just not exciting me.  I'm glad I got to at least start this - and yes, this still the grab bag reads.   I'm trying to cut down on a whole bunch of lists by reading between one and five books, broken down by categories.   (So, yes, you might see 'this is MU' or 'this is part of ____ project.')

That being said, I'm not really connecting with the main stories - although I do love the backstories, although this one was about Drax.   He's not my favorite of the Guardians, but this story was touching and heartbreaking, and showed a depth to him that made me want to weep for him.   It was also beautifully drawn and Rocket had a small part, which only did more to endear me to that backstory. 

This is all I have in this series, which is part of the reason I was reviewing by issue, and I don't see myself spending the money to get the rest of this series.   Sorry, series!
