I'm a well read grad student who's bluntly honest about all things, although I try to be most honest about myself.
I don't know if he stopped writing this or is just taking a break this month, but I don't like the new author quite as much as I enjoyed Soule. That being said, this isn't bad, not at all, although it's missing a little bit of the humor that I was getting used to during Soule's run of Inhuman and the start of this series.
Also, I think the artist changed, probably a couple issues ago, and it really hit me know. Crystal lacks curves. She kinda looks more like a refrigerator than woman yet also doesn't look fat. Sets' just all straight lines, and it's messing with my head, especially since she used to be all curves. (It can be a blessing and curse when characters have multiple authors and artists: there's always a chance things will get prettier, or you'll like the writer better - but you also can get one version in your head, or just shake your head at all the different versions.)
Still, the storyline progressed quite nicely and while the Skyspears are still a mystery, it's nice to know what they do - or get a glimpse of one thing they're capable of - in this issue. The real question is who sent the Skyspears? Also of interest: is boosting the capabilities of Inhumans all they do?
I look forward to getting the answers, although it looks like next issue will be all about Flint's family, so maybe I won't get the answers immediately.
