But I was giving Loeb the benefit of the doubt.   It didn't pan out.   The story wasn't engrossing enough for me to continue, despite Metallo.   (I like him.)

And then there was this little nit pick.

The same way.   The same way.   Maybe it's a personal choice, but I wanted to shout it at both Batman and Superman.   Then again, this started out as a neat way to show the parallels and divergences in Superman and Batman's life - but ended up with me guessing how it would go each time.   It could have been interesting, but it just became predictable. 

What Metallo was doing did surprise me, but using a cyborg and one surprise did not win me over. 

One half star for existing.   One star for Metallo.   Because I liked him and that's how I roll.
