I'm a well read grad student who's bluntly honest about all things, although I try to be most honest about myself.
Halo and Sprocket continues to be the most adorable thing I've ever read. Seriously, guys, you have no idea until you read this and start giggling. Halo tries to teach Sprocket how to be mad, but he has to look mad. He uses duct tape to make angry eyebrows. He tells him to clench his fists. He tells him to shake and yell.
But how to Halo do angry, Sprocket asks. Oh, he just uses his flaming sword of vengeance. Perhaps, Sprocket suggests, he can borrow said sword. Well, Halo says, he shouldn't really but maybe just this once...
And it turns out that Katie hadn't gotten Sprocket his motor oil because she wanted the best and they only had one, cheap kind at the grocery market so she went out looking for something better.
Sprocket was pleased. So was I.
Sprocket trying to explain tooth fairies to a child, and trying to figure them out himself at the same time? That was the most hilarious thing I've read. Katie and her pet angel and robot? Are perhaps some of my favorite reading. It's cute, it's fun, and it's very easy to read. Just what I needed!
