I'm a well read grad student who's bluntly honest about all things, although I try to be most honest about myself.

So, yeah, for those who remember, I won Rachel's giveaway for an Ever After box. I had the choice in the end of the February or March and told Rachel whichever was fine by me. (I'm usually easy that way.)
It came today. My brother was there when I got the notification that it came and is slightly fascinated by the mystery boxes - so I ended up opening it as soon as I got it in the house.

I got a map of Romancelandia - small towns of course - with the names of series/books and the authors who wrote them printed out. It's pretty neat, although I haven't had the time to read out everything quite yet. I got a collapsible silicone snack bowl with the Ever After logo on it, a handmade card, a handmade bookmark and a tart making kit. (This included a single sized tart paper - according the recipe - and some jam to make the tart, along with a recipe from Elizabeth land of Cooking UP Romance.)
On the other side of the recipe is the - I assume typical? - notice of what you get: it lists all the things in the box including short descriptions. (I don't know if it was a last minute small addition, but I got an easter egg with a small sticker that says 'smart girls read romance,' but is not on this list. Still, it was fun to get to open up the egg and see what was inside!)
I also got four books: two paperback and two digital editions that I plan on redeeming right after I type this up. The first paperback is a book from Hope Ramsay's Last Chance Series. I got A Christmas To Remember, which is actually an anthology with stories by Jill Shelves, Kristen Ashley, Hope Ramsay, Molly Cannon and Marilyn Pappano. I haven't really read anything by any of these authors, so I was actually excited to get an anthology by all of them. I also got another book by a new to me author - Sand Dollar cove by Nancy Naigle. Each book came with a printed out note from the authors.
The two digital books were The Big Girls Guide by Aime Stuart, and Playing Doctor by jullie Rowe. Julie Rowe, by the way, made the greeting card, although it's an assortment so I like to think it's unique - or not made by the dozens, at least. I believe my metal book part was created by JDCreative Hands as it doesn't match the Plot Threads photo (by Michele Hauf, who is also an author.) The beads look similar to the ones that JD uses, too, and it's got a little mustache on the end. Very cute :D
I also got a paper bookmark by for Allie Boniface's The Hometown hero series, and a small promo for Michele Hauf's books from Nocturne and a nail filer from Nancy Naigle. All in all? Lovely little box! Now, off to redeem my digital books.
ETA: I opened up both books, and they are signed. Naigle's came with a bookmark, too and it features the book in this box. Also, I forgot to mention that Hope Ramsay made the jam.
