I'm a well read grad student who's bluntly honest about all things, although I try to be most honest about myself.
Like the Badoon prison planet that Kitty - a Jewish woman - rightly calls a concentration camp. It's all about saving people, though, even if it means they put themselves in mortal danger. (If it weren't the case they wouldn't have snuck onto the planet. People get put on Badoon prison planets, and then try to escape.)
Much like Doctor Strange this month, this lent itself to a little less humor than usual, and I keep seeing these kinds of trends which make me wonder if things just align that way or if the authors e-mail each other or something to make sure they're all on track. (Let's do filler episodes that are relatively humorless this month, guys! No, no, trust me, the fans will love it!)
Then again, and on a serious note, given how much snark you get when you mix Star-Lord and Kitty Pryde? It was nice to see them a little more serious this month. I'm looking forward to them versus the Badoon next month!
