I'm a well read grad student who's bluntly honest about all things, although I try to be most honest about myself.
Virginia's past comes back to haunt her, as do mistakes that have been made by others, particularly Vin. And the racism - it's you or us, so you better get out because you're different - is back.
Specisim? I'm not sure what it is, but people do not like Vision's family. (So, apparently this comic book isn't going to convince me that people, in general, are worth hanging out with or anything. Sometimes I hate people. SometimesI hate fictional people.)
The ending to this? Traumatic for everyone involved. I don't believe I've read much, if anything, by this author. I was worried because he was taking over the first ongoing/solo series and I wasn't sure if I would approve. King's done so much with this: taken it in new, exciting directions, gone where some authors might have shied away from, and his bold and visionary (excuse the pun, or not, it's there now) take on this character has made for one of my very favorite series.
A lot has been building up with Vision, not just here, but in All-New, All-Different Avengers. I can't wait to see where King is going to take this.
And no, not that King. Tom King. He's a far superior writer in my opinion, though, so I'm happy with this King.
