I'm a well read grad student who's bluntly honest about all things, although I try to be most honest about myself.
I'm waiting for issue #600 to go onto MU to finish up the next, and final, volume of this run but man... The Omega Mutant, Matthew Malloy, is a power beyond that the X-Men have ever encountered.
How can they control Malloy without Xavier, who was the only psychic with enough power to repress his mutant abilities? More accurately, others have the power, but not Malloy's trust, so he won't allow them to control him, or repress his powers.
It should be noted that the argument of if repressing his powers is right is something confronted in this volume. Also, Malloy only wants to not have killed people do to his inability to have controlled his power, or to bring them back to life - which he finds himself unable to do.
I was engaged with this from start to finish Loving this so, so much!
