Grimlock ♥ Ultra Magnus

I'm a well read grad student who's bluntly honest about all things, although I try to be most honest about myself.

A hell of an ending to the first story arc...

Guardians of the Galaxy (2015-) #5 - Valerio Schiti, Arthur G. Adams, Brian Michael Bendis

And it seems that Marvel is timing a lot of their series; new storylines are starting for a lot of series next month.  This is no exception.

Not only do the Guardians have to defeat Hala, thus saving both Spartax and the Earth, but Peter Quill - King Quill of Spartax - will be held accountable for allowing the planet he rules to fall to Hala in the first place.   A lot of people on Spartax, a lot of those with a great deal of power, don't like him.

And that doesn't even get into how Yotat plays into this storyline.

Then again, it seems this might be a conspiracy no one saw coming.  Not much time is spent setting up the next storyline, but it already promises to be grueling for the Guardians and kept me excited about this series.

I cannot wait for the next issue!
