Grimlock ♥ Ultra Magnus

I'm a well read grad student who's bluntly honest about all things, although I try to be most honest about myself.

Captain America and Devil Dinosaur...

Planet Hulk (2015) #2 - Mike Del Mundo, Sam Humphries, Marc Laming

I'd forgotten that Captain America and Devil Dinosaur were paired up together, but then again, I don't remember them delving so far into the relationship between the two first issue.   That being said, I was particularly touched by how much Cap was distraught when he was separated from Devil; he was truly worried about his steed, his partner in war, his friend.   For someone who only really makes noises - as opposed to using any language that is coherent to humans - Devil Dinosaur is quickly becoming a favorite character.

He is a T-Rex, though, and so is Grimlock, so that means I'm kinda primed to like Devil.   I think he works, in particular, with characters who care for him.   Yes, he's protective of Cap,. but a lot of what we see in him is via the relationships he has with others.   The fact that Cap is worried makes me worried about him, makes me see him as more than the 'steed' that Doc Green sees.

Anyway, this was full of action, moved the plot along nice, and gave me some character development.  I'm eager to move onto issue three.
