I'm a well read grad student who's bluntly honest about all things, although I try to be most honest about myself.
Penguin sent me this book, the second, the one I'd been eyeing. I'm not sure about it all: it mentions I'll get an ARC, and I got what looks like a final edition of the book, with price, and no mention of it being not finalized.
Regardless, I know why I got confused. This was where I entered, and my e-mail saying I'd won said it would be the first book. To be fair, this is my friend's blog, and I'm more than willing to give her the benefit of the doubt and say it might have just been a misunderstanding between her and the publisher?
Either way, I'm happy to have gotten this. Think I'm going to read this book and if I enjoy it as much as I hope, go back and read the first.
Thank you to everyone who made this possible: the author, the publisher, and Libromancer's Apprentice. I'm thrilled to be getting into this book very soon. (I'm rushing off to meet a friend again soon, so maybe not quite yet.)
