I'm a well read grad student who's bluntly honest about all things, although I try to be most honest about myself.
And that's super disappointing, but nothing much I can do about that. The thing is, I don't remember the first series being so vulgar. Oh, the swears don't bother me so much as the fact that that's all there is to this so far - swearing.
The first series did swear, but not quite as much, and it was funnier placement, funnier because the swears weren't so overused. It also had a point: it was a hilarious take on a mid-life crises, so it wasn't all just swearing up and down the road.
This one feels broken, like there's nothing to say, but hey, series one was popular enough to call for a series two, right?
Hoping issues two and three get better. You guys know I'll get four, but I'm certainly not paying four dollars unless there's a drastic turn in events. B3TH and D4VE's awkward flirting is cute, but not enough to carry this series. PNUT the dog is a funny take on dogs, but even with B3TH and D4VE's flirting, isn't enough to carry this series.
And the art is gorgeous, so... three stars!
