Retelling old stories with a new twist
Many of the Battleworld miniseries are old stories, retold, or built upon. Old Man Logan, X-tinction, Days of Future Past, which turns into this.
Except that much like Old Man Logan - which goes beyond the original story - so does this. It's an alternate universe of an alternate universe. The humans have taken control, sterilized mutants, run them into internment camps, killed those who dared try to live their own lives.
Except even the mutants who have seemed to meekly accept this role are not quite as compliant as they seem.
Loving this series, and it's making me want to reread Days of Future Past.
