I'm a well read grad student who's bluntly honest about all things, although I try to be most honest about myself.
Just make things weirder. And Doctor Strange is coming up on all manner of weirdness: magic isn't working, he's encountering things he's never seen in this plane of existence before. (He's also a nice, needed break from Witchblade, which I hope to finish by tomorrow so I can move onto something less... gross.)
This was quick, and I knew it would be, and it would get me out of that place, where I just get angry about what's written and how it's written. Aaron continues to write Strange as the compassionate doctor I remember and love from Deadpool. I'm really eager to see where Aaron takes him. I haven't been able to read all that much Strange because I find he's mischaracterized, and the stories aren't well told.
With Aaron, he's written properly and the stories are full of humor of warmth, and move along quickly due to this, even when facing energy-sucking maggots. Which we're back to gross, but the kind of gross I can deal with.
I'm really glad I picked up this series.
