I'm a well read grad student who's bluntly honest about all things, although I try to be most honest about myself.
None of the funky religious bits, although they mention some of the mythology of this world - which ties into religion. It just wasn't the priests turning to cults and black magic kind of weird.
I liked this much better. I appreciated the art more, I liked that I wasn't rolling my eyes about the weird religious bent in volume one here, and they had a little more diversity in the stories, including one that had me on the verge of tears. It was all leading up to this one horrible moment, and this one moment of quiet grief that was done to perfection.
This is gonna be a short review. I'm tired, and I've been in pain all day - so I kinda lounged around reading for the most part since I didn't have to work today. I'm too beat to do anything longer.
