Really?   Because, you're supposed to be way more advanced.   Like, you guys lived on the moon type of advanced.   So basic genetics shouldn't come as a shock to you, and breeding with your close family members?   You should pretty much know that will end in tears and recrimination due to genetic fuckery and/or insanity. 

Just like having trouble with your five wives shouldn't come as a surprise.   And if it does, hit up the relationship section in your local Barnes and Noble.   No, seriously, I'll wait.   And we should probably hit the science section as well, because I don't think there are any books called 'DON'T MARRY YOUR FIRST COUSIN BECAUSE IT WILL END WITH YOUR CHILD BEING INSANE!!!!!' in the self help section.
