I'm a well read grad student who's bluntly honest about all things, although I try to be most honest about myself.
While, yes, there is a story, and there were shocking moments that made me sit up, take notice, and even gasp aloud, this is more multiple character studies that guide along this story. Crystal, Medusa, Maximus, Black Bolt, and Luna are the focal points, but what was done with Gorgon and Pietro? Wow, I didn't see those coming, and they dealt with the characters nicely.
Gorgon is a catch-22: there was no real place in the story to deal with his character more, and it might have even been too much given how much focus there was on other members of the Inhuman royal family. But I also really, really wanted to see how he dealt with the fallout of this mini-series more, as well.
I've been struggling, looking for something to read. I even got so bored of so many comics that I ended up taking a walk. This, however, was perfect! I'm going to finish up the first volume of Deathlok, and then move onto more Inhumans, I think.
