I'm a well read grad student who's bluntly honest about all things, although I try to be most honest about myself.
It still has the problem with religion: too preachy, too connected to the actual religions and this gets in the way of good storytelling. I don't know if marvel doesn't want to step on toes, or if the authors have some emotional tie to religion, but specifically in the Marvel universe?
It doesn't work. It wants to seem hard-edged, but it's all about saving Heaven in the end, so it's all pretty predictable and not as unique or sharp as anyone thinks it is.
I'm still enjoying Aaron's writing - some of the humor is hilarious - enough to continue with the Heaven's on Fire mini series, and I want to read more Ghost Rider. But I honestly think I'm going to go back to the older days, before they tried to make it all about angels.
Please, Marvel, don't write about Angels. Fail. The only angel I liked was Angel/Archangel/Warren.
