Excellent article on Deadpool
But I felt compelled to share the link, although I'm not a fan of the reblog function as is right now, and I've got the energy to make my own post.
There is some speculation on the movie, and why it may get Deadpool right. I'd argue that the real strengths lie in examining Deadpool as a character, his history, and why some people have gotten annoyed with him. (I haven't been to conventions other than Readercon, but it sounds like many a cosplayer are not helping.)
Still, excellent article, and I suggest reading it if you have any interest in Deadpool at all.
