Grimlock ♥ Ultra Magnus

I'm a well read grad student who's bluntly honest about all things, although I try to be most honest about myself.

Aw!

Cable and Deadpool, Vol. 7: Separation Anxiety - Reilly Brown, Fabian Nicieza

The ending to this is super sad, and it's a little bit about what the title - Separation Anxiety - refers to.   But even before that ending, Wade and Nate were having trouble, and so the they had separated long before the ending that I knew about, but wasn't ready for anyway.

The feels.   It hit me in all my feels.

A lot of the best moments happen at the beginning: Cable and Deadpool aren't working together, and Deadpool, with no prospects as a mercenary, decides to try his hand at being a super hero.

It works out not quite how you expect, but, yeah, kinda that way, too.   I mean, Deadpool.   He's a little too flighty to be a superhero.   He's also a little too violence-happy to be a superhero, so...

I don't watch Grey's Anatomy, so I'm totally confused by the McSteamy reference.   I don't have any interest in Googling Grey's Anatomy, either.

He manages to break the fourth wall and hit on the ladies at the same time.   Well done, sir.   Well done.

I'm not super happy with Bob the Hydra Agent, or the crack about trying him out for a mini-series, but... it wasn't enough to ruin this series, or even volume.

Overall, it was a fun entry, I blew through it, but I don't feel much like writing a longer review.   I just wanna get on with finishing up this series.   And yes, still sad that there's only one volume left to go :(
