I'm a well read grad student who's bluntly honest about all things, although I try to be most honest about myself.
Many of my friends are likely familiar with Kirkman, of Walking Dead fame. Yeah, him. He wrote this, and it's pretty sick: the Marvel Universe is taken over by zombies, and as heroes are turned - and turn on their loved ones and each other - they pick off everyone. Absolutely everyone.
As far as they know. When they eat, they can think until they get hungry, and that aching hunger overtakes them, turning them into the undead cannibals that is the current default for zombies.
It's an interesting take. Especially when the Silver Surfer comes along, bringing his master to devour our world, as he does with all worlds he finds accetable. He's a huge piece of meat, and everyone wants to get their jaws on him, but he's also super powerful.
Can the 'heroes' turned zombies beat him, and save what's left of humanity for their own hunger? And if so, what happens when Galacticus runs out?
However, I read this to see what's up with Headpool. And there was very little of that in this volume. Somewhat disappointing that there was so little Deadpool. Onto the continuation of Merc With a Mouth.
