What would happen if you found out you were just a puppet, your life and pain toyed with for the amusement of others?   Think of the meta in Supernatural when Sam and Dean find that their lives have been turned into books. 

Except that Sam and Dean are mercenaries and assassins, are mentally ill in that they hear voices in their hears, and listen to said voices, and I think it goes without saying that they're not as moral as they are on the show. 

Yup.   That's this.   Except, y'know, Deadpool actually is a character and finds it out.   It clears things up for him, but it also really, really messes him up.   I mean, all those people - heroes and villains - who are also just meatpuppets for us.  

Dance, Marvel universe, dance!   For we, the public, and the writers are your creators!   There's really only one logical conclusion: kill everyone so they can't be used, so that no one can trample on their loves and  lives and dignity. 

And then, y'know, go for the people who are really doing this.   

And yes, he is doing this for them.   After all, the knowledge of reality is crushing him, and well, I guess he assumes it crushes the others as well.

Existence as a character is unbearable for him, and I think he assumes it would be for them if they knew the truth.   

It's just messed up to an unholy degree.   And worse, or best, of all?   It's fun!   It's so, so much fun.   It gives me a better understanding of some of the Deadpool issues I've read before,e and it made me laugh, which I really needed right now.   

I'm going to be late to dinner for finishing this, and I don't care.
