Grimlock ♥ Ultra Magnus

I'm a well read grad student who's bluntly honest about all things, although I try to be most honest about myself.

Daredevil Vol. 2: West-Case Scenario - Javier Rodriguez, Chris Samnee, Mark Waid

The first issue deals with Matt's parents, and why his mother left.   It's kinda neat because he starts out with one assumption, that his memories back up completely, but he didn't really know what happened.

When he tries to figure it out, he ends up having to save his mother, then questions her about what had happened.   This issue deals with

postpartum depression, which nice because it's a women's issue, and I think it shows that Waid/Marvel are taking women's issues more seriously.   It's done in a way that is respectful to women, but when Matt starts giving out numbers and percentages to comfort his mother, it broke the mood. I laughed out loud.

Now it just sounds like a PSA.
