Grimlock ♥ Ultra Magnus

I'm a well read grad student who's bluntly honest about all things, although I try to be most honest about myself.

Really getting into this series

All-New X-Men, Vol. 2: Here to Stay - David Marquez, Stuart Immonen, Brian Michael Bendis

It's fun, it's funny, and it calls into question a lot more than I would have expected.   What would you do with a second chance?   Who do you trust when everyone is trying to interpret their past and your future to you?  Do you go back to your own time or do you try to brave a future where the technology is unknown to you in order to fix mistakes you haven't made yet?

And with Jean Grey abusing her budding telepathic power, there are a whole gaggle of other questions, like is she going to be the Phoenix because she's so easily seduced by such power?   Is it her knowing her own tragic future that makes it so easy for her to abuse her power?

It's more thought-provoking than expected, but with Bendis' sense of humor, it makes it less dense to read and more of a joy to read.

I've already read volume three, so I'll be moving onto volume four next.
