I'm a well read grad student who's bluntly honest about all things, although I try to be most honest about myself.
There is not talking in full sentences. There is adorableness, and babbling. Yes, Kamala Khan is an every girl, and she's all the more amazing for that fact. Even while she tracks down super villains, she's faced with real life problems, like her parents disapproving of her behavior, her sneaking out, and sending her to get help for her truancy. She wants to make them proud of her, wants to obey them, but sometimes doing the right thing means disobeying them.
In this issue, her favorite superhero, Wolverine, tracks a missing student of his to New Jersey, well, it's up to him and Kamala to find her.
Well, mostly Kamala at this point. She's still got her healing factor, after all. The humor, the realism, that filled the first volume? It's all here. It's simply just as amazing as before.
I'll be back for more, simply because this character is utterly charming in her true-to-life adorkablness. And yeah, Wolverine, you knew you were gonna like her on the spot because Kamala is all kinds of awesome.
