I'm a well read grad student who's bluntly honest about all things, although I try to be most honest about myself.
I didn’t think anything would make me wish for Super Spider-Man more than the regular Amazing Spider-Man. Then came Learning to Crawl, the Amazing Spider-Man flashback to when Peter Parker originally became Spider-Man.
Yawn. Other than being tedious, that scene where May fixes Peter with the power of laughter felt even more contrived than the insta-love in regular series.
I had to force myself to get to the end of this, and I wouldn’t have moved onto a second volume even if there had been one!
