Still not quite as good as Atomic Robo
Fun, but I still prefer the regular Atomic Robo series.
Yes, this had one major story arc, but it revolved around what was apparently Tesla's 11, which turned to Tesla's 7. No robots. None at all. Boo! There were mini-stories that were nicely resolved, and most of which had Robo as a main character.
Tesla's 7 - and yes, I'm going to call the storyline that - was fun, lighthearted action that didn't take itself too seriously, mirroring the feel of the Atomic Robo series. But there's something ridiculous about Atomic Robo - like Doctor Dinosaur - that was just lacking here. That extra spark that made Atomic Robo my go to, my five star series? Just wasn't here for me.
That being said, it was a hugely fun read. If you're into Atomic Robo, you'll probably love this series, even if you don't love it quite as much as the regular Atomic Robo series.
