Grimlock ♥ Ultra Magnus

I'm a well read grad student who's bluntly honest about all things, although I try to be most honest about myself.

It's okay...

Fear Itself: The Worthy #1 - Christos Gage, Frank Tieri, Greg Pak, Jeff Parker, Jen Van Meter, Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, Tom Defalco, Tom Peyer

Each 'chapter' is alright, but short, even for brief origin stories.   They were alright, but not fantastic, and thus I was left feeling as if this were a half-formed idea.   Yes, these were all originally free, but they're paid now, and even for a couple dollars?   This doesn't hold together.

The art is pretty amazing, although there are different artists for each six-or-so page origin story.

I wouldn't recommend picking it up unless you're a completist, but it was a quick read if you snatched 'em when they were free.
